Installation & Activation

ID Vendor Event Reviews can be installed like any standard WordPress plugin.

Upload the ZIP File

1. Download the plugin .zip file to your computer.
2. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
3. Select the .zip file and click Install Now.
4. Click Activate Plugin.

After Activation

The plugin registers two custom post types and a taxonomy immediately:

• Vendor Events — A new menu item appears in the admin sidebar with a calendar icon. This is where you create and manage events.
• Event Reviews — A submenu under Vendor Events for managing submitted reviews.
• Event Types — A taxonomy submenu for categorizing events (e.g., Craft Fair, Trade Show, Pop-Up Market).
• Settings — A settings page for Pro license activation and configuration.
• Analytics — A Pro analytics dashboard (visible to all, functional with Pro license).

Permalink rewrite rules are flushed automatically on activation, so your event URLs work right away.

Activating a Pro License

1. Go to Vendor Events > Settings > License tab.
2. Enter your license key and click Activate License.
3. All Pro features unlock immediately.
