Moderating Reviews

All reviews are submitted with a “Pending” status. No review appears publicly until an administrator approves it.

The Event Reviews Screen

Navigate to Vendor Events > Event Reviews to see all submitted reviews. The list shows the review title, linked event, star rating, reviewer name, and submission date.

Approving a Review

  1. Click on a pending review to open it.
  2. The Review Data meta box shows the event, reviewer (with a “(guest)” label for guest submissions), guest email if applicable, overall rating, subcategory ratings, numerical data, and submitter IP.
  3. The review text is in the standard editor above.
  4. Change the status from Pending to Published in the Publish meta box.
  5. Click Update.

The review now appears on the event’s frontend page. If Pro email notifications are enabled, the reviewer and/or event organizer will be notified automatically.

Editing and Deleting Reviews

You can edit the review text in the editor if needed. Star ratings and numerical data are read-only in the admin. Move a review to Trash to remove it from the frontend. Reviews cannot be created from the admin — they can only be submitted through the frontend form.
