Pet Management
Navigate to Dog Walking > Pets to view and manage all pet profiles. Pets can also be managed from a customer’s Pets tab.
Adding a Pet
Each pet is linked to a customer. Create a pet profile with the following fields:
- Name — The pet’s name
- Species — e.g., Dog, Cat
- Breed — The pet’s breed
- Age — The pet’s age
- Weight — The pet’s weight
- Temperament — Behavioral notes (e.g., friendly, anxious around other dogs)
- Medical Needs — Any medications, allergies, or health conditions
- Special Instructions — Specific care instructions for this pet
Pet Status
Pets can be marked as Active or Inactive. Inactive pets are excluded from the booking form and appointment creation screen.
Search & Filter
Search pets by name and filter by customer. The Pets list shows each pet’s linked customer for easy reference.
Pets in Appointments
When creating an appointment, you select which of the customer’s active pets are included. Pricing adjusts automatically based on the number of pets — the base rate covers the first pet, and the Additional Pet Rate from the service is applied for each extra pet.
