04 Setting Up Email on iPhone/iPad (cPanel) Print

Adding Your Account

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Mail
3. Tap Accounts
4. Tap Add Account
5. Select Other
6. Tap Add Mail Account

Enter Your Account Information

• Name – Your name as it will appear to recipients
• Email – Your full email address (e.g., john@yourdomain.com)
• Password – Your email password
• Description – A label for this account (e.g., "Work Email")

Tap Next.

Configure Server Settings

Select IMAP (recommended) at the top of the screen.

Incoming Mail Server:

• Host Name – idwebhosta.net
• User Name – Your full email address
• Password – Your email password

Outgoing Mail Server:

• Host Name – idwebhosta.net
• User Name – Your full email address
• Password – Your email password

Tap Next. Your device will verify the settings.

Complete Setup

Choose which items to sync (Mail, Notes) and tap Save.

Troubleshooting

If verification fails:

1. Double-check your email address and password
2. Ensure you entered the full email address as the username, not just the part before the @
3. Try toggling off SSL temporarily to test, then re-enable it
