03 Changing Your Email Password Print

You can change your email password through webmail or cPanel.

Method 1: Through Webmail

1. Go to yourdomain.com/webmail and log in
2. On the webmail home screen (before selecting Roundcube or Horde), click Password & Security
3. Enter your current password
4. Enter your new password twice
5. Click Save

Method 2: Through cPanel (Administrators)

1. Log into cPanel
2. In the Email section, click Email Accounts
3. Find the account and click Manage
4. In the Security section, click Password & Security
5. Enter a new password or click Generate to create one
6. Click Update Email Settings

Password Requirements

For security, passwords should:

• Be at least 8 characters long
• Include uppercase and lowercase letters
• Include at least one number
• Include at least one special character

After Changing Your Password

You'll need to update the password in any mail applications or devices where this account is configured. Until you do, those applications will show connection or authentication errors.

Forgot Your Password?

If you can't log in to change your password, contact your administrator to reset it through cPanel.
