Installation & Activation

ID Maintenance Mode can be installed like any standard WordPress plugin.

Method 1: Install from WordPress Admin

1. In your WordPress admin, navigate to Plugins > Add New.
2. Search for “ID Maintenance Mode”.
3. Click Install Now, then click Activate.

Method 2: Upload the ZIP File

1. Download the plugin .zip file to your computer.
2. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
3. Select the .zip file and click Install Now.
4. Click Activate Plugin.

After Activation

Maintenance mode is off by default. Activating the plugin does not block visitors — you need to enable maintenance mode from the settings page first.

1. Go to Settings > Maintenance Mode.
2. Check Enable Maintenance Mode when you’re ready to block visitors.
3. Customize the page content, background color, and background image as needed.
4. Click Save Changes.
