By default, WordPress displays your latest posts on the homepage. To use a custom page instead:
- Go to Settings → Reading
- Under "Your homepage displays," select A static page
- Choose your Homepage from the dropdown (the page visitors see first)
- Choose your Posts page from the dropdown (where your blog posts will appear)
- Click Save Changes
Important Notes
- The page you select as your Posts page will automatically display your blog listing — you don't need to add any content to that page.
- You cannot use the same page for both Homepage and Posts page.
- If you don't have a blog, you can leave the Posts page dropdown empty.
Creating a Homepage
If you haven't already created a page to use as your homepage:
- Go to Pages → Add New
- Title it "Home" or "Homepage"
- Add your content (or use your page builder)
- Publish the page
- Return to Settings → Reading to set it as your homepage
