Saving Element Changes

When you edit any element (text, image, etc.):

  1. Make your changes in the settings window
  2. Click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom of the window

Important: This only saves the element settings – you must still update the page!

Saving the Entire Page

After making all your changes:

  1. Click the Update button (usually in the top right or sidebar)
  2. Wait for the "Page Updated" confirmation

Previewing Before Publishing

To see how your changes will look before making them live:

  1. Click the Preview button
  2. A new tab will open showing your page as visitors will see it
  3. Return to the editor tab to make adjustments
  4. When satisfied, click Update to publish

What If Something Goes Wrong?

  • Undo: Use Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac) to undo recent changes
  • Revisions: WordPress saves page revisions – check the "Revisions" link to restore an earlier version
  • Don't Panic: If you haven't clicked Update, your live page is unchanged
