Give vendors a voice. ID Vendor Event Reviews is a flexible event review platform that lets vendors rate and review events they’ve participated in — complete with star ratings, category breakdowns, and anonymous analytics data that helps future vendors make informed decisions.
If you run craft fairs, trade shows, pop-up markets, or any event where vendors rent table space, this plugin collects the feedback that matters. Vendors can share their experience with an overall star rating, optional per-category ratings for things like organization, staff helpfulness, foot traffic, and venue quality, plus free-text commentary.
Anonymous Data, Useful Analytics
Beyond star ratings, reviewers can optionally report numerical data — estimated attendance, table cost paid, number of sales, and gross revenue. This data is aggregated anonymously into averages displayed alongside the review summary. Future vendors get real numbers to help them decide whether an event is worth their time and money, without exposing any individual vendor’s financials.
Built-In Moderation
Every review is submitted with a “Pending” status and must be approved by an administrator before it appears publicly. This gives you full control over what gets published. Approve reviews from the Event Reviews screen in the admin, right alongside your events.
Shortcodes for Flexible Placement
Three shortcodes let you place review functionality anywhere on your site. Display the review submission form with [[idver_submit_review]], show the review summary and individual review cards with [[idver_reviews]], or build a responsive event listing grid with [[idver_event_list]]. Each shortcode works independently, so you can combine them however you need.
Custom Templates with Theme Override Support
The plugin ships with custom single event and archive templates that load automatically. The single event page includes a hero image, event meta, reviews section, and review form all in one page. The archive page shows a filterable grid of event cards with type badges, location, date, and star ratings.
Want to customize the look? Copy the template files from the plugin’s templates/ folder into a id-vendor-event-reviews/ directory in your theme, and your theme’s version takes priority.
Spam Protection and Rate Limiting
Each user is limited to one review per event. A honeypot field catches automated spam submissions. Combined with the pending moderation queue, unwanted reviews never reach the public-facing site.
